Clinical Focus

ADHD

Medication can help with attention, impulsivity, and follow-through, making it easier to focus on what matters and navigate the demands of everyday life.

Anxiety & Depression

Sometimes worry, sadness, or other difficult feelings can become so loud that they interfere with everyday life. When appropriate, medication can help turn down the volume, creating more room to cope, connect, and do the things that matter.

Autism-Related Challenges

Medication can help with specific challenges that often accompany autism — like intense frustration, difficulty focusing, or overwhelming anxiety — so your child can feel more comfortable and do the things they want to do.

Medication Management

Medication management includes evaluating whether medication may be helpful, selecting the right option when appropriate, and monitoring how it works over time.

Visits include reviewing symptoms, health history, current and previous medications, and what has or hasn’t worked before. If medication is new to you or your child, I’ll explain the options, how they work, possible side effects, and what we’ll monitor so you can make an informed decision.

Follow-up visits focus on effectiveness, side effects, and whether adjustments are needed. Care may also include vital signs, growth monitoring, a focused physical exam, and questionnaires when appropriate.

Approach

A pediatric lens on medication management.

I consider the whole child: their development, physical health, emotional well-being, behavior, environment, and family.

Medication decisions don’t happen in isolation.

I take time to understand the factors that influence how each young person feels and functions, while keeping care thoughtful, evidence-based, and individualized.

Young people deserve a voice in their own care.

I make every effort to ensure children and teens feel heard, respected, and included in conversations about their health in ways that fit their age, stage, and individual circumstances.

Timely Access to care

Flexible scheduling with teleheath options and current appointment availability mean you can get started quickly, without a lengthy wait for care.

More Time Together

Longer, one-on-one visits give us time to understand what’s changing, answer questions, and clearly explain medication options, what to expect, and what we’ll monitor.

Direct,  Consistent Care

You work directly with me throughout your care. Having one consistent provider allows me to get to know you, your needs, and what matters to you over time.
